Heather’s specialities are addictions, substance abuse, relationships and separation, stress management, sexuality issues, assertiveness and self esteem and work-life balance.
For the last 15 years she has been counselling in the Employee Assistance Field (EAP) and, since 2003, has also been offering therapy in private clinics.
Heather’s great strengths lie in her dignified and honest approach to guiding her clients to make the life changes they desire. She is realistic and supportive in enabling her clients to identify impediments towards making these changes, overcome these obstacles, develop and augment their personal strengths and to identify their own set of goals and objectives that are both healthy, achievable and realistic.
In the last 22 years since she achieved her Masters of Social Work Heather has worked widely in numerous different settings, developing her clinical and therapeutic skills with both mandatory and voluntary clients.
