Experience:
My work experiences in hospital settings, community centers, schools and as a teacher have allowed me to develop clinical skills to intervene with a diverse clientele, facing a wide-range of challenges.
My belief:
I believe that all of us possess the ability to make positive changes in our lives and have the strength to overcome challenges that life brings to us. Sometimes the challenges that we face are so painful that it clouds the potential and strength that we have inside of us. Through therapeutic intervention, I guide the client towards their internal resources to improve their quality of life.
I believe that therapeutic intervention reaches its full potential when the focus of the therapy is set accordingly to the client’s goals. My work philosophy, therefore, is to focus on the client’s expressed needs.
I believe that to insure the success of the therapeutic process, the client should feel comfortable; it is crucial that our relationship is based on trust, honesty, safety and respect. I engage myself to work in an atmosphere that shares these values!

Therapeutic approach:
I start with my sessions with an eclectic approach. This approach allows me to be flexible in my interventions and also to recognize the strategies and therapeutic techniques that are more suitable for the client.
I draw mainly from the following approaches: Cognitive-Behavioral, Eye Movement Integration, Impact Therapy and Solution-Focused.
I provide therapeutic intervention to children, adolescents and adults of all ages related to issues such as: depression, anxiety, anger, stress management, elderly (caregiver burnout), unresolved childhood issues, grief, abuse and relationship issues.
